A Place for the Overqualified and Underwhelmed

This is not a productivity blog. It's a corporate exorcism and a survival guide written from inside the system.

Read when you have time for a full exorcism. Length is part of the process. Side effects may include clarity.

At Ghost Deparment, we talk about the absurd theatre of modern work; the meetings that could’ve been emails, the LinkedIn prophets of “alignment,” and the corporate wellness initiatives launched by the very people causing burnout.

Here, we laugh so we don’t cry (at least not during office hours). We make sense of the nonsense, find poetry in PowerPoints, and try to stay human in a world that wants us to sound like performance reviews.

If you’ve ever muted yourself on Teams just to scream internally, this place is for you.

This is a space for the quietly rebellious, the ones who care deeply but pretend not to, who lead while questioning leadership, who’ve mastered the art of nodding thoughtfully during nonsense.

You’ll find essays, reflections, and the occasional corporate autopsy. The goal isn’t to fix the system. It’s to stay sane inside it.
To laugh. To feel seen. To keep your job (for now).
